NBS series: Swales

Swales are shallow, often gently sloping, channels or depressions designed to manage and direct the flow of water. They are typically used in landscape design, civil engineering, and sustainable agriculture to control erosion, manage stormwater, and promote water infiltration. Swales can be both natural features and human-made structures.
